For certain civil service titles, Westchester County Department of Human Resources holds examinations on a continuous basis throughout year. Unlike other examinations listed in our Web site, which are held periodically and have application deadlines, candidates may apply at any time to take continuous recruitment examinations. Examinations listed in this section are held on a continuous basis. In order to participate in a promotional examination, you must have the required permanent status with the appointing authority referenced in the examination announcement: Westchester County, Westchester Medical Center or one of the local jurisdictions for whom we hold civil service exams.
